Best way to remove scrathces in clear coat

I have an 05 brawn red Titan and recently have noticed a few screaches that appear white. How do I get rid of these buggers?

Oh and I cannot spell very good

Re: Best way to remove scrathces in clear coat

Unless you have all the proper tools and wax, etc. to do it at home, your best bet is to take it to a pro shop and have them buff it out.

They buffed out a couple of scratches on my truck and it looked perfect, took no more then 30 minutes for them.

I tried that on my wife's Lexus at home with the stuff you buy at auto parts store and let's say she wasn't too happy with the results, ended up taking it to the shop anyway.

Re: Best way to remove scrathces in clear coat

buy a good buffer, about 175.00
Get a good pads, about 25.00
painters tape, about 5.99
get rubbing coumpound, 3m about 11.00
get a polish, 3m about 10.00

Tape off anything you dont want burned though.
Use rubbing compound and a coarse pad first
Finish up with polish and a finer pad.

Or just pay somebody.
