Anyone know of a dealer/place that will sell the 6/100,000 warranty cheaper then the $1795. the dealer wants for it? Just seems kind of steep to me, and I know they have all kinds of comission built into these as well.

Just get to know the business manager reaaalllly well. She hooked me up when I bought my truck. It was my 3rd vehicle from that dealer though. Factory bumper to bumper warranty was 3 year/60,000 km and she gave me the 5 year/100,000 km bumper to bumper for $600 bucks. That was her cost.
There is lots of commission in those packages.

You have two choices in life:
You can stay single and be miserable,
or get married and wish you were dead.
I got screwed...paid 2200 for the Gold 100,000k warranty...Im an idiot obviously...just sounded good at the time.
Don't feel badly you're not the only one who gets duped into paying way more than they should for an extended warranty. It is something many just assume isn't negotiable.
I posted this a while back:
Well, I took the plunge! I paid 1700.00 for a 5yr/100,000 warranty from this place http://www.nissanextendedwarranty.co...Record%20Added. I hate paying for this crap but, I have 35,840 mi on the beast as of today so I had to move fast. "Toby" The lady that helped me was really nice. If any one does use this place tell her Mike Tillery sent you.
I suck at negotiating so a better deal could have probably been made., but it is still substantially better(around 300.00-500.00 better) than any offer here in San Diego. Plus with 10% down you can pay the rest with (zero interest) over up-to 17 months.

Be careful if they are not from the factory - I got two from Warranty Gold...before they went bankrupt. I got my money out on one repair, but I would have been pissed if I hadn't. The aftermarket ones are notorious for not being around long. I figured it was was the extra $500 I paid Nissan for the 7 year/100k ($1500) than I would have at one of the others because Nissan is not going to go out of business, IMHO.

I got one a while ago from the guy that advertised them on the forum here: 6yr/100,000 for about $1100, IIRC. That was for the Nissan Gold Preferred warranty.
Let me find the link....
Here it is, try calling this guy (Fred). Not sure if the deals are still valid, but it's worth a try.

This was sold to me by a Nissan dealership in Georgia, it is exactly the same as if I had bought it when i bought the truck new. I have already had warranty work done with it with no problems, in fact the service writer commented on what a good policy it was because of all the **** it covered. Knock on wood!
