Clicking in dash

What's up guys I guess the Titans have the same problems as the Silverados do as my Silverado had the same actuator problem. My "mode" setting(when changing from defrost to like face it clicks) I know that one and that's it's by the gas pedal. But I'm now getting clicking on the right middle of the dash. Removed the glove box to put a finger on the actuator that controls the recirculating door and it's not that one that's clicking as I hear the clicking noise while I touch that actuator. It sounds like it's coming from an area on the right side of the radio dash area. What actuator is there? All my controls still work fine except when I switch the mode then that actuator clicks so i have to get a part number for that one so I can switch it out. But what about this other one ?

Yeah I've read that thread. But I went to the Nissan dealership and on their computer it showed like 5 actuators in the schematics picture. But it's hard to believe there's more than three. So most likely my temp control is the new one acting up ?

Re: Clicking in dash

Had my temputure control arm slip up and over pin on arm. What an adventure that was. But dealer wanted over $ 2,000.00. So that explains my options.

Damn that does not look fun. So basically I just have to pop the arm back onto that pin?

Re: Clicking in dash

I don't know if you saw this video but this guy manages to fix it without pulling the dash. Its not really a how to, but a testament to the fact it can be done.

Hmmm that's a way I'm willing to try rather than taking the dash off. It hasn't clicked these past two days not sure why. Do all the acuators have the same part number?

I believe there are two different part numbers for all the actuators. I two have had to replace the one under the dash. It's not a fun job, but I did manage to do it without taking the dash completely apart. I will double check in the part # here in a little bit for you

Their is at least 3 unique actuators, I know because I bought the wrong one the first time.

So this is the one that's inside the dash next to the stereo area? I keep reading it's the temperature actuator. My temperature works fine no matter where I put it, it just clicks randomly and is very annoying so I'm trying to get that one replaced asap and do it once too lol.

The defroster one by the gas pedal should be easy to find and buy as it's the mode door actuator. But in the schematics all the actuators show the same part number?
