Rocker Panel trim removal

Here's the deal, I'd like to remove those dumb rocker panel trim pieces on the sides of my truck but arent sure if anyone has done it yet and if they are held on by stickum tape only or have location holes. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Re: Rocker Panel trim removal

are you talking about the body side moulding on each door that is on the SE/LE TITANS?

Re: Rocker Panel trim removal

Not sure if your talking about the side moldings on the doors...I don't know about any rocker trim/paneling...If you mean the side molding/door bumps then...on the crew cabs the front doors have holes in them where the molding attaches. The rear doors are just held on with double-side tape.

Re: Rocker Panel trim removal

Yeah that's what I was talking about (side mouldings). I have a king cab though. Well, maybe I'll wait to do that when I have some time and someone to do some paint work. I've already shaved off all the foo foo emblems.

Re: Rocker Panel trim removal

I think it would look better without the mouldings, but they are there to help prevent dings on the door. So I am leaving them on.

Re: Rocker Panel trim removal

I'm the opposite, I'd rather have them, my doors look like they're inviting dings......anyone wanting to unload a set, lemme know....

Re: Rocker Panel trim removal

I did see a few pics under a post about shaving emblems on some lowered trucks and it looked really sweet. I'm not too worried about the dings

Re: Rocker Panel trim removal

Im not worried bout dings, theyre gonna happen anyway...if not on the door then on the moldings and its still gonna look ugly...lol

I like the way the moldings look though...I also like the badges though so I guess thats just my taste...
