It's a tie!

We tied with the Tundra but we beat all the other brands. Have you seen this yet? Click on the far right picture.

i think its funny how everyone always tries to say that "the titan is not a work truck compared to my 3/4 or 1 ton pickups".

Well come on now...I love my Titan but when it comes to WORK...there is no comparison to my Ford F-350 V-10 flatbed. I know I "can" tow my loaded 10k duel axel equipment trailer with my Titan (i have) but I know its maxed out and safety becomes an issue for me. Its not worth it...plus...would you jump into you Titan with muddy boots day in and day out? I didnt think so!

I love the fact that it's safe. All that speed and power we need it safe too.

well no **** its not a work truck, but all the ford, dodge and chevy guys can compare to it is the 3/4 and 1 ton trucks. why dont they ever bring up the 1/2 ton trucks that are in its class???

Re: It's a tie!

I use my Titan as a Work Truck. It works for 95% of the things I want to do.

I have hauled up to 2000 lbs of tile, brick, etc in the back. I wouldn't do it often, or for a long distance, but it will work just fine in a pinch.

If it gets any heavier than that, I load up a trailer, or just call and have it delivered.

I probably would replace my Titan in a few years with another one, if it was a heavy duty diesel.

I think you missed his point. It's never about 1/2 ton to 1/2 ton. Other's like to make apples and oranges comparisons.

BTW-Nice to see the Titan at the top. After seeing some accident pics on here, I'm not surprised.

Re: It's a tie!

BuzzKill you must be a fruit lover. It's always apples to oranges or apples to even bigger apples with you..J/K. And yes the big three always want to throw their 2500's or 250's at us because that's all they can throw at us. The regular 1/2 ton's don't stand a chance.

Re: It's a tie!

That's just embarrassing for the domestics, the Nissan and Toyota are more than 500 lbs lighter than the Chevy and Ford aren't they? How is it that they are safer? I mean if my truck is going to be so heavy that it gets it's *** stomped by the Jap trucks in acceleration, then I would expect it to be at least safer.

Re: It's a tie!

IT's because our trucks are actually built in the good ol USA. And the Titans aren't recycling 20 year old technology.
