I have an 06 KC Radiant Silver that I have just over 2 months and almost 1100 miles. The miles mostly come from driving in town which is no more than 30mph. I have a bad chip on the hood facing the front. I know that could be rock damage and nothing can be done about that so I am not worried about it. But I have 5 other chips. One from a few inches under the driver door handle, another about midway down on the same panel, another in the middle of the rear driver panel, and 2 on the passenger rear panel. I don't drive on gravel roads either. Is this normal, or my truck does not like paint?
Nissans are known for their "soft" paint, but yours sounds a little "over the top" for your mileage and type of driving you do. I would be headed back to the dealership to determine if they can help you out in any way.
I've got some chipping on my fenders and the bottom of my doors. Don't know how bad the hood is (have an AVS bug shield installed), but now I'm afraid to look!

I've got tons of chips and I refuse to put a buggaurd on... so I just get more and more. It's something you learn to live with.

You know I said that to myself when I saw the big chip on the hood. I was ok with it. But when I washed the Titan (which I do at least once a week) I noticed all the other chips. Oh well, guess I will just have to live with it.

I dont think its a Nissan thing I think its a Titan thing,my wifes Maxima is fine and it has alot more miles than my Titan.
I had a small paint chip on the bumper of my infiniti i30, I took it thru the car wash and about 25% of the paint was stripped off of the bumper.. I took it to my autobody friend he said he would fix me up really cheap if I finished taking the paint off the bumper, so I went back to the car wash and took the rest of the paint off. It only took about 5$ in quarters to completely strip the bumper.

Unbelievable. My G20 chipped pretty bad too. $5 is very cheap and a lot less sweat.
get a clearbra, it's saved my front end from tons of chips. I can see spots in the clear vinyl where it was struck by a rock, etc. Worth the $200 investment up front, I've had my truck for 2 years and numerous road trips, off and on road and no chips up front for me.
