look what i just got to save on gas

To help save some money on gas and keep the mile off the Titan. I just picked this up on Fri. '06 Honda CBR 600RR. It gets 49.5 mpg The only thing w/ the bike is that I'm so damn short I had to have it lowered 3 inches. Still rides great though

Or you do what I did. Sign all the paper work and drive it home, then tell your mom you got it. Its kind of hard to bring back then. lol Yeah my mom doesnt like the fact that I bought it either, but her other choice was to pay for my gas in the titan. j/k

Now I seem old.....The last Street Bike that I rode was a 1988 Kawasaki Ninja 1000......when it was brand spanking new...It was black....and very beautiful .....a friend of mine kept it in my garage for about 6 months because he lived in an apartment....I rode it once, got scared and haven't been on a street bike since....I do have 5 dirtbikes in my garage though.

heck, in 1988 there would be no way i could even touch the foot pegs, i was only 7 years old. lol I looked at the Ninja's also, but I just like the way the CBR felt under me. Its my first bike so I am hoping I won't grow out of it too fast.

Really nice. Why did you choose the Honda over the others? It would be a toss up for me between the CBR600RR and the Yamaha YZF-R6

Re: look what i just got to save on gas

Watch yourself turning with the tubes dropped through the stem 3 inches. That bike probably turns like a school bus now. Just be careful out there. I'm on my third Yamaha R1 now first was an 01' then an 02' and now I rock a Raven 05' with Full TiForce tuned to 171 at the wheel on oxygenated race gas. I just came back from Deals Gap on the 18th and it was insane.

With the way people drive now I'm looking for a track only 600 and I'll be waiting for some squid to wad up his 06 R6.

Re: look what i just got to save on gas

it does turn like a school bus but not that bad. The only good thing is that i didnt ride it before it was lowered so i have nothing to compare to, so getting use to the bike is w/ it lowered i dont have to try to forget how it use to feel. That is why i didnt take it from them until it was dropped. i can still do a figuer 8 though. I went w/ the honda over the other brands for one, I traded in my '05 honda rincon 4 wheeler, but the seller was the way the bike felt under me. I just felt the most comfortable on the honda. The way my body huged it. But i am also 5'6'' also.
