AfterMarket Seats in a Titan

Anyone put Corbeau or other aftermarket seats in their Titan? I was curious if there are any pics to see how it would look... Corbeau does make brackets for the Armada, so those would probably work in the Titan.

Re: AfterMarket Seats in a Titan

it probably wouldn't but that's the cost of aftermarket products.

sometimes you lose function over form.

You could EASILY rewire it so that the sensor is permanently on (will go off in any accident).

Problem with the Titan is that no brackets/rails are made specificly for it yet. You could have custom brackets made, or drill the seats into the floor like Kyle Millen did.

Re: AfterMarket Seats in a Titan

My seats actually use the stock mounts still. It required quite a lot of disecting of the factory seat rails and there is no way that the seats will ever go back to stock but definitely possible. Here is a picture of my setup. I tried uploading pictures of the brackets but my filesizes are too large so I need to shrink them down first.

maybe the pass airbag sensor can be removed and retrofitted?

What did you do about the airbag sensor?

I have a set coming, and will let you know how they go in. I'll see if I can get some pictures of the install. My goal with the truck is to maintain as stock a look and function as possible (yeah, OK, the racey seats aside), so we'll see if the frames can be used and the AB sensor maintained.

Re: AfterMarket Seats in a Titan

I don't see why they would make an armada bracket and not one for the titan. Seems like the titan would be the same bracket.

Re: AfterMarket Seats in a Titan

The airbag sensors are inside the seats on the passenger side. I think it is some sort of weight activated system. Therefore, I just did away with them. Air bags are good for somethings but if your offroading and hit a rough whoop section, the last thing you want is the airbag blowing out.
