Brushguard or Not???

When i bought my Titan new I got them to install a OEM brushguard. Now IM having doubts about it. I dotn know If I like it with on or off. If I do decide to sell what would be a fair price for it?

Re: Brushguard or Not???

Got any pic's?
I usually like them, and have had them in the past, however the ones for these trucks (and chevy colorado's, the new silverado's, etc) throw me off with the angle around the headlights. I've seen some on this forum that look good, and others that just don't look right...

I like the look of it on white. Good contrast! I would vote keep, but it's whatever you like!

Re: Brushguard or Not???

No secret that I'm not much for the overall looks of the Titan in general, but I kinda dig it on the front end honestly. Gives it a meaner look. More of a TRUCK look than a space shuttle.

Re: Brushguard or Not???

I don't like brush guards that have an enclosure around the headlights. It makes the truck look like its wearing glasses. I like guards that offer protection for the front end, but don't enclose the headlights. The lifted F-250 in the March issue of Truckin' has an excellent guard, but I can't find the manufacturer.

Personally, the only guard I have seen that I actually have liked for the Titan is found here:
http://www.rockymountainsusp.com/Tub_Prerunners.htm

Both the N-fab and Four Real guards would look GREAT on a lifted Titan. Any guard on a truck thats not lifted, just doesn't look right to me.

Here's some pics of the installed N-fab:

Re: Brushguard or Not???

Its all about what YOU like but I personally don't like the brush guards and would lose it. I do however like the bull bars and plan on putting one on mine in the future.

Re: Brushguard or Not???

I don't personnally care for the look. I like a bull bar on the Titan beacase it gives a meaner look while not covering up the good lines of the Titan in front. But like what they said its what you like.

Talking Re: Brushguard or Not???

I get a kick from seeing trucks with massive bull bars/brush guards. I'll bet 99.9% of these trucks never go off-road. The worst they see is that pile of trash going into the mall parking lot . With that being said, if you want that stuff on your truck, go right ahead. It's your money and your truck. I like the clean lines of the Titan myself.

DoD approved Kevlar/Flame suit on. Flame away!

Hello,

That is funny and so true. Just like the trucks wearing 22's and 24's with low profile tires. But then to each owner his own style. Nothing wrong with that. I have the OEM grill guard and I havnt lifted my truck. I mean... if I lift it I cant fit into the Nordstroms indoor parking garage!

But I will tell you this! My grill guard has already saved my front bumper twice in a parking incident. Possibly more since I am not always sitting in my car when it is parked outside.

I dont plan to travel through the jungle. But Baja runs would be the norm. But the concrete jungle is where my grill guard shines brightly.

Ditto and just added weight for no reason! Most of the grill guards on the market cant even stand up to real punishment, just a couple of bolts holding those flimsy things on.
