Do you guys run your tires down to lincoln's head?

Im at the top of Washington's (4/32) and wonder if I should change them now. I am at 36000 miles on my BF Goodrich's 285/70's.

Re: Do you guys run your tires down to lincoln's head?

I am down to 3/32-4/32 on my Goodyears. I will be getting rid of them as soon as I can get to the tire store. These are only going to make it to around 26500 miles.

OMG..CHANGE EM" !!! How the heck did you manage 36k miles on these tires?! I'm thinking about replacing my BFGs, and I'm only at about 24k. I've been happy with their performance but they don't last.

If I am runing just on the street I will go till they are almost slicks. If they are dirt tires I will change them soon, around .100-.150 left.

Re: Do you guys run your tires down to lincoln's head?

I am hoping to get to the snow season with my G/Y's, which will get me about 33,000 miles out of them, hoping for 36k. I used all 5 tires and rotate every 6k. Alot of around town driving buy I take it easy.
