Haven't seen this posted yet, but a small blurb in the SAE mag. caught my eye under the heading of More from NISMO. In addition to describing the Sentra bits was the following (Kenneth Zapp, Sr. Mgr. of Nissan Specialty Vehicle Group is quoted in the section):
"The newest volume part for the official NISMO line is a tuned exhaust manifold for the V8 powering the Titan pickup truck, joining one available for the V6 engine in the Frontier, Pathfinder, and Xterra. The manifolds, which come complete with a gasket kit and are ready to bolt on, feature smoothly polished internal weld joints for maximum exhaust flow.
On the horizon is a supercharger kit for the V8 engine only, intended to provide a minimum increase of 100 hp (75 kW), Zapp said. The kit has been in the works for some time, but, he added, it includes a new engine computer, higher-flow-rate fuel injectors, and an air-to-water intercooler. The objective is a complete, bolt-on package, and that takes time to validate to OE standards, he added."
Pics of both are included and they look well-executed. Unfortunately, the SAE website doesn't link to the "performance and aftermarket" section of the current issue, so that's the best I can do.
Anyone have any more info? This should generate some discussion...
