Unhappy Keep Blowing Fuse hooking up trailer

I know there are several threads about this, but this is my experience and it is driving me nuts: I have been having problems with my trailer lights (2 different trailers) since I have had my truck. I left the truck at the dealership for a day and they didn't know about the fuse under the steering column until I mentioned it. The fuse was blown and they said that was it. So I hook my trailer up again and it blows it again. I put a new fuse in it and hook it to another trailer and blows it again. Can someone tell me what is going on? The mechanic said it had to be my trailer, but it is happening on 2 trailers that worked good with my previous truck. The mechanic did say the he found out the fuses are on the newer truck for safety and he thought Nissan should have used something more than a 10amp fuse. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Re: Keep Blowing Fuse hooking up trailer

There is a wiring harness recall on our Titans, so you may be one of those that need the fix.
