Bedliner Question

I know there have been issues with the spray in bedliner but I have the drop in one. When I took delivery of the truck it had what looked like dirt in the front part. No big deal, I thought, I'll get it on the next wash. Countless washes later its still there, I have scrubbed and power washed. Anyone else had this problem with the drop in? Think the dealer will replace it?

Re: Bedliner Questino

Personally I wouldn't worry about it for 2 reasons:

1. It's a truck! Who cares if there is a spot on the bedliner
2. A drop-in bedliner sucks ***. I wouldn't waste any of my time making it look better.

That doesn't fly, for 2 reasons.

1. I do
2. I'm not going to drop $1k to replace a brand new bedliner at the moment. When this one gets damaged, BY ME, I will think about it.

Re: Bedliner Questino

It's always worth a shot to ask the dealer to see if it's still under warranty. Goodluck.

Re: Bedliner Questino

Mine seems like its always dirty down inside the groves, but like they said above its a truck. I wash the outside but I don't really care what the inside of the bed looks like.

Re: Bedliner Questino

Yeah, same here... forget what the bed look like. I don't make my bed at home, so I ain't gonna make it on the road.

By the way, I have the sprayed in liner and in the front corner, it is always gooey, like its melting or something... kind of weird.

And if you truck is still in the 3 yr/36000 miles, the bedliner should be covered.

Re: Bedliner Questino

Gooey is not normal for a spray-on bedliner. Take it to the dealer.
