Installation of a Leveling Kit
I keep reading about how people have installed their own leveling kits... Is it really that easy, or should someone like myself have it done proffesionally? I can get the kit for $150, but, labor is going to be $200. Anybody have instructions on how to install this??
I installed a leveling kit on my truck and it was pretty easy. Jack up truck. Put on jack stands. Take off wheels. Unbolt swaybar links. Unbolt ball joint on upper control arm. Unbolt strut on top and bottom. Bolt spacer to top of strut. Put strut back in. Bolt strut in. Bolt ball joint back to upper control arm. Bolt sway bar links back on. Put wheels on. I didn't have to even align mine.

How's it going, Texas? If you'd like help installing your kit I'd be more than happy to lend a hand. I've installed 8 kits so far and I've become quite proficient. Anyway, let me know if you're interested. No....I wouldn't dream of charging a dime. Just a good way to meet new Titan people and get to hang out and drink a few beers. Send me a PM if you decide you're interested.

New List of Mods Coming soon
I'm going to install my NCD leveling kit tomorrow. I have the Nissan service manual and it says I can remove the strut assembly without having to unbolt the swaybar or the ball joint on upper control arm. The instructions that came with the kit say I have to unbolt the swaybar but not the ball joint on upper control arm. Can I do this by just removing the strut assembly and adding the spacer?

I believe you would need to remove the swaybar, not completely off just the bolt.
