Question Best Winch?

Who makes the best front mounted winch and Bull bar setup for our Titans? What kind of prices are folks paying and from where?

Re: Best Winch?

I don't know if there is a definitive "best winch" manufacturer out there. Warn comes to mind as having a great reputation and they do make good products. I have a Mile Marker, SI12000 winch I recently paid $499 for at an offroad show and installed on my Titan using a Mile Marker winch mount brush guard. Paid $495 from 4X4 Parts, who is a featured sponsor here. Excellent service.

Link to photos and write up is here:

FINALLY - A winch mount brush guard!!!

Kennesaw Mountain, Calmini and I think ARB all make replacement front bumpers if that's what you're looking for. I think the Calmini is special order and may not be out yet, but lot's of folks have the KM.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

John

Re: Best Winch?

What rating do you want from your winch, how much are you willing to pay, and what will you use it for?

For the same rating, I'd say Mile Marker is above WARN and Ramsey because it's hydraulic, you will never worry about shortage if you're in water. Then it's a wash between WARN and Ramsey because each pretty much has the same capacity and rating as the other. Find one with a good price and you're golden. BTW - WARN has more dealers than Ramsey for sure, if that will help your decision.
