iPod Setup to Aux in Titan

Can I just plug my iPod into the Aux hole? I need the cord; where can I get them? Is it pretty much plug and play, or do you have to have it set up a certain way. Also, how does it sound??? I hope a lot better than that crap of an iTrip I bought; biggest waste of money.

I'll google the thingy you need.

Also you'll need a mini stereo plug. They sell 'em at radio shack etc.

Thats how I run mine I got the cord at wal mart for a few bucks. Sounds just as good as having a CD in there undo any bass type settings on the ipod by just doing the reset and make all your adjustments through the trucks stereo

Re: iPod Setup to Aux in Titan

Trust me man...this will be money well spent.

If you use your ipod with just a plug...it will sound like crap.

I tried it both ways...and I'm a cheap bastard but forked out the $$$ for the adapter.

J&R.com is a good company too...

Re: iPod Setup to Aux in Titan

I picked up a cable from Radio Shack for $5. Sounds great, most people with the 04 have problems with the AUX input level but for 05 and newer that problem was fix by Nissan. Don't recal the exact size but it's just like your headphone but with the same male plug on both side. The folks at RS should know the right size to get you.

Re: iPod Setup to Aux in Titan

Yeah, I have an 05 LE... I want to try this out. Do they make long cords so you can place your iPod in your console? I'm not going ghetto and mounting this in my ride.

It comes in difference length. I think I got the 2 feet cord.
