Who's gonna test drive '07 Titan?

I know I am, I want to see the difference in power if there is any. Are the any changes in appearance that anyone knows of or when they will hit dealers in SoCal?

I won't test drive one, unless they come out with a diesel.

Not to rain on your parade, but you may not appreciate a power difference in a new Titan. I noticed mine was significantly stronger after break in, specifically pulling mountain grades at low rpms without downshifting.

Re: Who's gonna test drive '07 Titan?

I might get a college classmate of mine in the PQA department let me test drive one as soon as it comes off the line. It sounds like he has a project that he needs me and a systems engineer in my department to help him out with, and it might motivate me to work faster.

I probably will just for the hell of it. Also my buddy at the dealer said late this year they will be here. Nov/Dec time frame but who knows it could be sooner?

Man Nissan really missed the boat on this one. They should have done like Chevy and released the 07s in April. Dumb a$$es!

Re: Who's gonna test drive '07 Titan?

I don't get car companies offering the next model year when the current year barely gets started. If it's built in 06' (at least before thanksgiving) it should be an 06' not something else. Just plain silly marketing and people fall for it.

Re: Who's gonna test drive '07 Titan?

I don't think I'll test drive one, unless the changes are drastic. Now, if they had a 3/4 ton on the way, I would definitely drive that, but I know that won't be for a few more years.

17 exta HP? I thought the 04-06' were rated at 305 HP, so it would be a measly 12 HP increase (if there really is a increase).

The new '07 chevys will have that hp.

Re: Who's gonna test drive '07 Titan?

Anyone have any 'leaked' pics or anything of what the redesigned Titan will look like? I think i heard 2008 was when they'll change it, meaning it'll come out next Fall 07 so there might be some pics out there somewhere.
