I've never owned a Titan/How's it for off roading

I do a lot of Dez trips and I bring a few bikes.I beat the S**T out of all of my trucks will this one hold up?

What model would you suggust?

What options would you get?

Wheres the best place to but an 07?

I'm 6'2 200+ will I fit?

How's the seating in the back?

If you do alot of off-road I guess a 4x4 is best, maybe with the Off road package and the big tow package if you tow your bikes. You should fit in the Titan no problems. Back seat are spacious, I have had other adults back there with no complaint (I have a CC 4 full doors) the king cab is a little tighter back there. Look in the off road section for some crazy action of people going off road. Goodluck

I think the only thing Baseballfan left off was where to get one!

Where are you located? I highly recommend Carsdirect.com.

Re: I've never owned a Titan/How's it for off roading

Good horsepower, lots of torque down low. Easy to throw on a nice little suspension upgrade that makes fast more fun. A quick call to PRG can net you upper A-arms, front coilovers, front hydraulic bumpstops, rear deavers and rear reservoir shocks, all netting you 10ish wheel travel at all corners with great shocks. I do Pismo beach more than anything, and the whoop sections can get pretty ugly. Last night we flew out of there 2nd gear tapped just skipping through the dunes.

I beat my trucks to death. I did destroy the factory front shocks. If you plan to upgrade, I would skip the off-road package. If you're towing the bikes, do get the tow-package. If you are hauling bikes, check to see if the crew cab bed is long enough for you.

Re: I've never owned a Titan/How's it for off roading

It's very capable off road on the stock suspension (all I have is a leveler)......

I'm 6'7" 275lbs and I'm comfortable in my captain's chairs.....and with the seat the whole way back, I can sit comfortably in the back.
