I can prove that my 2005 Titan CC with Big tow has almost 4 full horse power at the rear wheels! I took the family to the county fair today and was helping out at the Pony pull event. At the end of the event I used my Titan to pull the loaded sledge out of the mud pit to help those tired ponys (10500 pounds full of Iron). It took the 2 winning pull horses to do 5500 that in the contest, so that figures the Titan has almost 4 full REAL horse power if you do the math. Yea!
Nice work on the pull!! I would have liked to see that. Got any pics??

My cell phone contract runs out next month, and I am going to get a new Razor phone this time with a built in camera. I see from the requests for pictures that I need to Pony up the bucks and get a digital camera that is always with me for when cool things pop up. Those horses are real atheletes and some pics would have been cool to share.
and at 987 hamster per horse that equates to approximatly
"3,948 HaP" (HamsterPower)

I took my Son to the State Fairgrounds earlier this year for a Draft Horse Pull. These animals have always amazed me! We had a blast! I wonder how many Belgians or Clydesdales it takes to make 5.6L power???

Probably about 2 of those really BIG furry footed horses would be my guess. Those are at least twice the size of the horses I saw yesterday. These Pony pull horses we were watching were limited to no more than 1400 pound wieght class each and running in pairs for this event. The big winners managed 5500 pounds and use special horse shoes made for dirt traction. They look alot like giant golf cleats. It was very exciting, and by offering to help out with the horses and the iron balast bars I managed to get FREE front row seats for my family to watch the event. My 6 year old Daughter really Loved it. It was so exciting - because these horses are all wild and ready to go. They seem to really get into the event and want to pull and pull. Sometimes they take off before they are hitched and drag the guys handling with them. It is so fun to watch. I would definitly go again next year.
Yep, these teams did the same thing! The horses would hear the clank of the hitch on the sled and take off. It took 4 guys to hitch the sled and only one driver. Poor guys almost got dragged across the arena a few times...Weights were 5000# + for the big teams! That's like two of the horses pullin' a Titan!!
