Your hull raisers are from Nissan? or? Mine are thule..basically, why i'm struggling is because getting a yakima rack on top of my canopy is the same $$ as buying the titan racks..but then the issue becomes..i have a canopy i don't need and I still want to be able to use a Tonneau on occassion..Anyone know if there is there one you can use with the Nissan racks?
loading my kayaks using the racks and the kayak carrier is fairly easy. i think it would be much harder if you were to load kayaks on an Amarda for instance. the Titan is fairly tall and unless you are 6'5 are taller or use a step stand, it would be a challenge. it takes 2 people to load my kayaks, 1 on the ground pushing up the kayak to the person standing in the bed.

i can't get a digital camera until late tonight so i will snap and post pics tomorrow.

Re: Titan Kayak carrier

I have the exact system shown in the photo for my 16' Old Town kayak. The overhead rails are alos great for loading my bikes. Was not cheap but worth it for me.
I have pics on my computer but I don't know how to insert them on the post.

side view of kayak carrier when not in use

close-up side view. the horizontal mighty mounts clamp around the overhead racks. a bolt attaches the kayak carrier to the horizontal mighty mounts while tightening it to keep it in place.
