ARE LSII installed for $875. Good lid? Good price?

I have been wanting a bed cover form some time now. I have almost completely decided on the ARE LSII. I only have one local dealer and they quote $875 + tax installed. This is after the current $100 rebate offer.

Is this a good deal and is this a good cover?

Please let me know your experiences with this cover and what you paid for it installed.

I had one on my 03 Silverado SS and really liked it. It is very easy to adjust which was needed from time to time. I paid $850 for color matched and installed.

Sounds like a good price to me. I'm getting quote $1200 OTD here in North Texas.

I am in North Texas also, Texarkana. I figured Dallas area would be cheaper being that they probably have a lot of dealers in the area.

Thanks for the info.

ARE has a very good reputation. However, in the last 6 months or so, I've read some not so good things about ARE's quality. I wonder what's up?

If you like the LSII, take a look at the Jason Rage: http://www.jasoncaps.com/php/tonneau.covers.php

Re: ARE LSII installed for $875. Good lid? Good price?

I've had my ARE LS II for about two years now and I love it!

It's so nice to stop and eat on the way back from fishing without having to put all of our gear up in the cab.

I think the quality of the ARE is great. Very solid and no problems with rain or cracking at all.

The price sounds about right as well. I paid $730 bucks with a $100 dollar discount, but that was a few years ago.

Enjoy it!
