Need advice on driving lights for a Bull Bar

Been looking for awhile now, and was wondering what type of driving lights do you have installed on your BB?

I am torn between Hellas and PIAA's. Definetly want the round ones, prefer large sizez 6+ inches.

I can recomend the PIAA 520's They light up the night. You really see how good they are when driving in the Desert at night.

I have the PIAA 520's also. Get the pencil beam version and mount them about 20" apart at bumper level. chases the seattle soccer moms with the latte between their legs right out of the fast lane.

Re: Need advice on driving lights for a Bull Bar

I had some doubts of quality when I bought my Hella 500's vs the much more expensive PIAA only because everyone said PIAA is so great, but it was the right one for me. Put on a 2001 Ford Escape Bull Bar. 6 years (90,000 miles) later and they held up so well, I bought a second set for my Titan. The design really works. Lit up the hilly roads of WV when I travelled there and has had no problems at all. Wired in to activate with high beams. $65-75 and I'm missing out on nothing. Go Hellas!

Yup, they are nice, especially in chrome with rubber mounts. Didn't buy only because ones I liked weren't street legal. Worthy choice though.

Both good lights, but PIAA is my personal choice.

Lightforce guy here. I know they're not listed as options, but they sure are brighter than anything else I've seen around.

LOL, i will have to settle for the Tacoma soccer moms lololol

Thanks for the inputs! I seen the lightforce lights, $$$! I personally like the PIAAS 520, and 525's. I am very close to making a decision and feel it will the 520 ION chrome lights..... or maybe the 525's if i can find aftermarket chrome grills for them as the lights only come in black....

Exclamation Re: Need advice on driving lights for a Bull Bar

Bumped.

Ok, the lights are due in tomorrow

Iv'e taken a shot of the wire bundle on the passengers side, under the large fuse box cover. I heard that the small blue wire with the white stripe is the high beam power wire that i can tap the PIAA lights into. I have an 04 LE.

Can anyone please confirm/deny if this is the right power wire for the high beams???

Thanks!
