Take them off if it suits you. Try it out for a while. Put them back on if that suits you later. Take your side off, leave the wifeys side on. No problemo!

They are handy unless you are a hard core off-roader. If you do hard core off-road then you probably wouldn't be asking the question. So I vote for keeping them. I have them and do a little off-road during hunting season but nothing serious.

I switched mine out for some chrome ones, but this took some getting used to.
The aftermarket ones just look puny compared to the big beefy OEM rails, but I had to do it--they were the only thing left non-chrome.

My OEM's are for sale--- anybody in Central AR. Send me PM.

LOL, I am an "old man."
You'll get as many opinions as there are people. But I say..............leave them on!!!!!!! I personally think they look good, and are usefull for getting in and out of the truck, washing the roof, and even keep people from parking so close, which keep "door dings" at a minimum.

yep...another ol' man has 2 cents to throw in (watch it kid!!)..lol. I got a price of 300$ to drop them off at a speed shop and have them powder coated black. I love the scale of the bars, but the bronze color dont do it for me. I doctored a picture on the computer and dig the look!! Ya' see what ya have to foward to when you get old?
