To make a long story short....
couple weeks back, im on my way to downtown when a rock gets kicked up infront of me by a 18wheeler on I-10, happens to smack my windshield and ofcourse, causes a small crack with mini "spider legs" poking out...
a few days after that, i get around to taking my truck to the local car wash where they have a "FREE WINDSHIELD REPAIR" sign....guy comes out, i give him my insurance card, and the windshield is supposedly "fixed"....even to the point where he tells me i dont have to worry about it spreading, he used the solution and its activated with the help of UV light yada yada yada...seemed like a decent enough guy, so i took his word for it and went about my day.
anyway...on my way home today (not from the carwash) i hear a sharp cracking noise and guess what? that small crack just turned into 2, seven or so inch cracks that go all the way down towards the wipers.
needless to say im pissed!!!

i dont really think its the repair guys fault per-say....i mean theres no gaurentees listed and it was a "free" service, but still!!!
now im left wondering what my options are. is the repair guy/carwash somehow liable? is this covered under my warranty? or am i left to pout while my windshield looks like crap????
definately not going the insurance rout and right about now a brand new windshield out of my pocket is not even realistic (this semesters tuition was just payed in full)
