just picked up the latest issue of truck trend mag and they have the 4x4 titan beating out the nissan exterra, toyota fj, and hummer H1 in the ultimate 4x4 challenge. its a pretty good article guys and a cool looking titan as well. i had already picked the H1 as the winner before i even read it and was a little surprise to see the titan came out on top. but i think it was the H1 high price tag that gave it to the titan. anyway a win is a win and well done titan. all titan guys should check it out 4x4 or 4x2. if this was already posted just look over this.
That seems to be an odd gathering of vehicles. The titan seems to be a little out of place with the other three. But, a win is a win ... just more proof of what most of us on this board already know.

Notice they didn't bring a Jeep ?? very ODD .. a Rubicon will go places that you would only be able to photograph in any of those other vehicles...
The Titan is tough, and so are the others, but they won't hang with the Jeep when the trail turns nasty..
The camera crew and reporters were probably using the Jeeps so that they could get farther off the road and get good pics...lol
I don't know, I just got a 07 FJ 4x4 and having owned 3 jeeps in the past I would say the FJ can hold it's own! I feel like a tick on a bird dog, a redneck at a NASCAR race & a pimp in a whore house all rolled into one, a Titan 4x4 & a FJ, life is good!

Man, I thought I'd heard most of the Southern colloquialisms, but that's a hoot and a holler. I love my truck, and I don't doubt the TITAN is a stout 4x4, but IMHO there are more competent and capable vehicles out there. Land Rover comes to mind.
A veteran is someone who, at one point in his life wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America' for an amount of 'up to and including my life.' That is Honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand that...

You can't compare a full size truck to a short wheel base anything. truck trends should be a shamed of them selves. I can make a 1972 super beetle go places the Titan could never go. I don't know which FJ they tested but if it is the one with all tricks & treats for off roading there is no way the Titan or any other full size truck can compete. Now if power and room and maybe comfort is a factor and ''real'' off road capibility is just a side line then okay I see a win for the Titan. Not saying the Titan is a wimp.
