My truck got egged

Came back from vacation and found that my Titan got egged. I live in Texas so it's been baking in the sun for a few days. Anybody know how to get it out? It's on the paint too. I've searched the forum and there was a suggestion of using laundry detergent...anything else that will work?

Dude that sucks! I like heli's suggestion. wash it with hot soapy water then use a clay bar.

Re: My truck got egged

First off, sorry to hear that man. I hope you find the phucktards that did that.

I have used dish soap when there is pretty bad stuff on my vehicles. Also I believe any retail store will have a bug and tar remover that is even more aggressive. I would use one/both of those and rewax the truck.

If there is some paint damage from this, I know that some insurance companies consider vandalism under comprehensive so you may be able to get any paint blemishes fixed from this without raising your rates or much of a deductible.

Re: My truck got egged

Dishwasher soap work good but make sure to wax it afterward. Dishwasher soap takes everything off including any wax or protectant you have on there. Might as well wax the whole truck. I like what Helinut posted too.

Re: My truck got egged

You will probably have paint damage as the eggs tend to fracture the paint from the impact and could dent the metal depending on where they hit (hood, tailgate, roof).

Re: My truck got egged

Two words buddy...

Rubbing Alcohol. Like everyone else said...anything that takes caked off egg, bugs tar etc will strip off any protectants/wax as well.
