Angry What the heck

I just dont under stand why there are some here that post negitive crap about the Titan. I have had my truck since 01 mar 2006 and now have err 20k on in now(I dont know where I've been driving to)I never had any problems with the truck. It rides straite, smooth, brake work better then any other car/truck that I ever owned. On open highway it just drive smooth and very relaxing. This by far is a better truck then the Chevy, Dodge and Ford. I had have all 3 in the past. So stop complaining and have fun driving it.

isn't that the way America is now? that and sue happy.

My only complaint about this truck is the orange glow you get on the rear window. But after time with a new deck that will be gone.

Second your thoughts EC

Re: What the heck

my titan is not perfect nor will any car or truck be perfect, but you wont hear any crying from me because all the fun you can have with this truck far out number the few minor issues. the fit and finish is not A-level but i love this truck and i had NO major issues to date. so far its been 17 months of happy driving. i just hope nissan build on all the good things and work on the minor issues as well.

Sumtersc,

I agree with you whole heartedly but would add that others don't see the Truck the way you do-wish more people had your philosophy.

I have had many of the issues Titan owners faced but choose to say what you believe-it'll get fixed and I'm on my way to enjoy my truck.

What is challenging is the customer service-spotty at best.

BUT others may not believe the way we do and get stressed when their truck does not perform the way it should, expect a higher level of performance, or simply want a place to vent like this Forum.

Some members probably have complained about their former trucks regardless of brand and will continue to do so.

AND some complaints are legitimate ones that others are experiencing and so the Forum also educates on how to deal with it.

When you see a complaining post, help them to see your perspective, help them fix their issue, or ignore it. That's what the Forum is all about IMHO.

Re: What the heck

People think that everything is perfect when they buy stuff. Humans make things. I guess some people bought their cars when they where built on a Friday at 3:30pm. When your in a airplane, you think its perfect? Hell no it isnt, trust me I know been working on them for 17 years. When you sit on an airliner, the plane has lots of write-ups on it, but the airline wont fix it until the aircraft goes into its sceduled service.

Re: What the heck

What bothers me is all the people who complain about such minor things like a squeak or rattle. I have to wonder what they drove before their Titan. I mean, come on, it is a truck!

Re: What the heck

I remember my dads old ford truck f100 1971. That was a truck. Sure wasnt made for comfort. The ride was terrible(my brother and I sat in the back w/camper) and he was always working on it. Then he bought a 1984 ford f150, that truck was crap. Cheaply made, no power, paint coming off and you didnt want to take it on a long drive, wasnt made for it.

Re: What the heck

Owned mine since February and still LOVE to drive the thing. It's all I can do to not splurge every chance I get and buy a mod for it. Yeah, had the breaks fixed and a seatbelt receiver replaced, but it's a WORLD of difference from my 2001 chevy silv.

P.S. Titantalk rocks

Re: What the heck

I can totally understand why people gripe about the Titan. My 04 was bought back after 9 months and 9600 miles. It literally fell apart. My 05 has 17,500 miles and is 19 months old. It has been to the dealer 20 times and is ready for another visit.
I am one of those people that think that just because it is a truck it should not rattle. I am 50 years old, and have never had a truck, make that two, that have rattled like the Titan. Even though 1/3 of my mileage is in 4WD, I expect and demand more.
