AC fan stops blowing AC is Still on?

OK this is wierd and I am wondering is anybody else has had this problem

The AC is on and the air is set to just above mid. It's working normal and then the fan will just stop and will not come back on unless I turn it all the way off and then back on again. This happens randomly but on a 1 hour drive it will happen at least once.

Thoughts?

Some A/C units will automatically cut off in very hot weather....this happened to my wife's Murano when she hit the Baker Grade just south of the Nevada line. Outside temp was 104...at 9PM!

Not normal at all. The A/C blower fan inside the cabin should not shut off....even if you have an LE with the auto temp control. I'd have it checked out. I had the A/C TSB done myself but that didn't have anything to do with the blower fan. Please let us know whats found!

It could be a flat spot in the DC fan motor but not likely, and Yes I do have and LE. I think its the AC contorl unit and that would suck (but it should blow)
