Weird Question

Ive got a question thats been bugging me it might be stupid to some but I gotta ask it. Ok my neighbor has a 04 Ford F-150 fx4 with 17" wheels. He recently bought some 35x12.50x17 BFG MT's along with a 2" leveling kit only. It actually looks good and sits up high. Now the weird part my cousin has a 05 Titan crew with a 2" Prg Level Kit and 35x12.5x17 BFG Mts on stockers and we put the trucks up side by side and the Ford is way bigger the tires even look bigger than the ones on the Titan although they are the same size and both are factory wheels. My question is how can this be?

Re: Weird Question

Optical illusion because of the blocky appearance of the Ford? I'm grasping at straws here. I dunno.

is it the "heritage" edition(old body style) or the new body style?? The bed is deeper in the new body style making it taller

Re: Weird Question

Post a photo.
The titan is much more sleek so it's gonna look smaller I would guess. The fords and rams are real chunky right now.

Ford F-150's have huge open spaced wheel openings. Even 22 inchers look small on the trucks.

Re: Weird Question

The tires look bigger because i think the fords have wider wheels than the TITAN, So the 35s look bigger probably just in width.
