Not to mention that our trucks are high up and cast the beam right in the rear of the car in front of us... I sat in line at the border for 45 minutes once. Thankfully the dude behind me got the hint and turned off his lights. If they'd been drl's I would've had a headache.

When I'm camping and come back from fishing at two in the morning, I can see just fine with parkings, but nooooo, I had to light up everything with the daytime lights. Not anymore!

Yeah my boys room is in the front of the house, so I always turn off the lights before pulling in the driveway. Idiots turn around in my driveway and wake them up occasionally.
There is also the whole theory that if people get used to seeing DRL's they will be less likely to see motorcycles on the road\. |
