strange gap between rear door and bed
has anyone seen this problem? the gap between the rear door of my crew and the bed is different on each side of the truck - noticeably different
 thoughts? |

it is my wifes truck - we bought it new in 2004 - on one side I can't slide two fingers (side by side) in the gap but can pretty easily on the other...

Full or empty tank of gas? Might sit a little crooked w/ or w/o a full tank. Also could have a worn out shock.

Hey Bo hunter I agree with bolts loose on for the box. I had a rear end hit with my GM and after fixing it I noticed the box out a little. took them two secounds to fix it. I watch then and when they loosened off the bolt they litteraly pulled it with one hand back into place. I'm not a body man or anything like that, but the idea of the shocks out and full fuel tank was something i wouldn't think about. Good luck let us know what it was!
Maybe the wife got in a little fender bender and got it fixed w/o telling you and they didn't realign the box right! (Just kidding!) I don't want to get your wife in trouble! |
