Titan Crew Cab Window Wind/Rain Deflectors?

It rained today and I realized I do need them. Nissan doesn't offer them, any sources posters would care to recommend?

Re: Titan Crew Cab Window Wind/Rain Deflectors?

There are a couple of different types. One type has a flange which goes in the window channel. The other type adheres by tape and does not have the flange into the window channel.

I have the type with the channel flange made by

I live in the Pacific north west ..most of the guys here like the in channel ones..i've been reading that sometimes their windows pop back down due to the vent visors?..minor annoyance i guess...i like the stick on ones...extra coverage from the never ending winter rain and some sun block coverage..I got mine from www.cap-it.com but i should have tried ebay if I wasn't so impatient. Hope this helps.

Re: Titan Crew Cab Window Wind/Rain Deflectors?

It just rained yesterday and I remembered a somewhat annoying characteristic about this truck... When you roll the windows down and about 6 oz of water pours into the power window controls.... I don't want the flaps that are mentioned because it cuts down on the already poor visibility. I am just surprised at what a poor design that is and wonder how long it will be before the switches short out.

I agree my (rip) pathfinder, my (work) chevy blazer, my (commuter) ford escort and my hubby's (work) Dodge all have same "issue"... hense they all have window deflectors...but I can see through them...they do not restrict my visablility at all..

The Weathertechs are available in light or dark tint, so the lighter ones are easier to see through. I know what you mean about the visibility, though. The A-pillars on this truck can hide a bus if the placement on a curve is just right (wrong?).

Re: Titan Crew Cab Window Wind/Rain Deflectors?

I bought mine in chrome from parts-worldllc.com they were about $120.00 but well worth it. I needed them in NC becaue it is so hot I can still leave my windows cracked and the rain doesn't get inside... Not to mention they look great ! Pics of my Titan coming real soon, digital cam broken

Re: Titan Crew Cab Window Wind/Rain Deflectors?

FWIW, the AVS in channel ones I installed last week or so are still on there. The weatherstripping has settled down around where you install them and looks much better. (I'm sure being in warm FL helps this. I wouldn't want to install them in NY in January ). To date i've had no issues with the windows sticking, auto-retracting, anything. I just wish they would stick out juuuuust a little farther like the external mount. They do look much better, though .
Cheers, Lee S.
