Firestone Destination Le or Bridgestone Dueler Revo?

The firestones are 500 plus mounting and the Bridgestones are 650 plus mounting that includes the 75 rebate. I was previously going to get the Revos but after reading the reviews of the firestones I'm reconsidering. My buddy swears by the mich cross terrain SUV tires and the firestones rated higher at tirerack.com in reviews and at another site. They seemed dead on with how poor the goodyears I have rated.

Has anyone had any long term use of either of these tires? And would you buy them again?

Re: Firestone Destination Le or Bridgestone Dueler Revo?

With tires you seem to get what you pay for most of the time. I happen to run Bridgstone Dueler Alenza and like them. I have also run the Firestone Firehawk and would still run those if they made my current size. Tirerack seems to be a good source for test results and if you find a tire you want call several shops in the area as one may be running a special the others aren't. Good luck.

Bridgestone and firestone are the same company, so it's not like you are comparing a generic to a brand name. Either way you'll be fine. Pick the one you like the looks of. Michellin tires seem to not last. They dry rot on the sides really fast.

And note that Firestone still got your money. I'm probably putting the Revos on mine when the stock badyears go. They're in my price range and I think they're nice looking tires.

Yep the Revos are the choice. Had them on my durango. Great tires for dry and awsome in the rain.

Re: Firestone Destination Le or Bridgestone Dueler Revo?

If you are planning on going off the road any, go with the Revos. I stay on the road for the most part, and bought the Destination LE's a month ago. Total was $586 out the door. The guys at the Covington, KY Firestone store were really nice and did a good job. They are very nice tires, good wet traction, quiet, very nice ride, and the mileage didn't drop any. Bridestone and Firestone use the same rubber formulation (Uni-T), and you will pay a little less for the Firestones because of FORD. I am very happy with these tires, they are a lot better than the Goodyears that were on the truck.

Re: Firestone Destination Le or Bridgestone Dueler Revo?

Had the revos on since may, good tire but they are sooo behind
(bridestone) with production right now. Had a flat last monday and
took me until late wednesday before my firestone store could get
their hands on two of them. They actually had to order them from
american tire in Tenn. I went to 3 stores here in o-town and all
of them said they are on national back order. I know its alittle
more money, but you might want to order another one now to
keep as your spare ,as I did this time. Just a thought. Happy
trailing.........
