Weird Noise

ok i know the titan is famous for little noises but i have one that sounds like a knocking down by my feet. it almost sounds like it is coming from outside the truck. anyone have any ideas? brand new truck, i only have 2600 miles on it. thanks

Check under, on the frame. The bolts that hold the body to the frame may be loose. Check all around the area you hear the noise for any loose nuts or bolts. Even on the struts.

i just went out to inspect the truck and i think i found the noise. i was wrong. its inside the cab, when i shake or bump my stering wheel it sound like a plastic piece or screw is rattling. i use to think the noise was my keys hitting the dash but they werent.

i love figuring out annoying things. now to fix it...

Behind the plastic panel below the steering wheel, there is a metal plate behind that. It may be loose.

k i will check. sounds like more behind the horn/airbag. dont know how to reach that. probably should take it in.

oh does our stearing wheel lock? is it suppost to. what i mean is when we turn it when its off and in park, will it lock into place? all my other cars did, but the titan doesnt.

The cover over the gauges has been known to make noise, push down on it.
And, yes the steering wheel locks, just jerk it left or right.

i turned it till it locked , now it wont budge and the car wont start. i cant turn the key or anything.

if you steering wheel is locked.. you have to insert the key and turn the wheel back and forth while turning the key. use some force on the steering wheel. it'll unlock and start

my 06 cc 2wd has this same thud sound that seems to be under my feet too. Only seems to happen when im turning and hit a bump. I have checked all the nuts and bolts under the truck and cant find anything loose. If u find it let me know and maybe it will be the same thing for my truck
