Pros & Cons of Owning Titan?? New owner

Hello everyone. I am new to this forum and im also a new owner of a 06 Titan SE.

I was just wondering what the Pros and cons of owning this truck are..

I used to have an 05 altima that i did not have one single problem with. Traded that in for a Titan and so far i have gathered that my truck..

-makes wierd noises on the dash or steering wheel that seems to stop when i push down on it.

-my door sensor was not working right and my door light would go off while i was driving

- the outside seems to make a thump noise when i go over bumps

-i also heard that tinting your windows is a loss because the tint gets scratched in a matter of months?

So far i am a little dissapointed with the quality that nissan put into this truck. any pros to my choice over the ford f150?

also i know nothing about lift kits / rims and tires. what is a reasonable price for a good quality 6" lift kit / black rims out the door??

i really would appreciate all your feedback.

I've had my TITAN CC LE since March '06. The only drawback is the fuel mileage, and that is only because gas costs too much here in Oregon. Other than that, my truck ROCKS. It'll do anything I ask of it.

All vehicles have their little quirks, but overall this is a great truck and your not like every other Joe driving a Chevy or Ford! As far as the windows, if you get them tinted make sure you have the felt pieces they will most likely recommend installed. Enjoy your Titan!

The only thing I can think of is....ummm..... not haven enough money for my mods. And talking the wife into it.

I agree that and fuel milage and I figured if I wanted quiet comfort I would have bought a Maxima. I love my truck even with its quirks.

Whats the deal with the tint?I just had my wondows tinted and as far as I know he didnt do anything different than he does on any other truck.

Ok thanks a lot guys! Yea i do agree i am glad im not in a trendy ford of chevy like you mentioned bad azz. and i do love the way it drives just buying a new truck little things like that bum me out a little.

but i mean i guess the only drawback so far was like mentioned the gas mileage is horrible and i need to talk my fiance into allowing me to fix it up!

I just traded my lifted chevy in on a titan because of rattles and quirks. The Nissan is definitely much better built.

as CVTitan said, the biggest drawback is your bank account. At least it is for me (school expenses blow a$$)

most of the 06 and 05 ive seen, my friend has an 05, have the felt inside the window channel.
