Finally hit my Rev Limiter Today

Several questions...I'm not a big fan of manual shifting at the track cuz I notice my times acctually gain .2 seconds when I manual shift. But I never really hit the rev limit. Anyways today coming home from work going to the gas station....I decided to test it out with a stupid ricer...with a 2000 Honda Accord V6. I drop it to 1st and boom light turns green and I slowly WOT. I was lost in the moment of my pulling ahead from the light and then I felt a jolt...3 times...jolt...jolt...jolt...last one popping...like the 4 bangers at the race track. Then I finally shifted to second...my heart was pounding hoping my diff didn't shoot out the end. Here are the questions...was there any damage done to the engine? Do the tranny and diff get damaged in a scenerios like this? Give me a heads up...thanks.

If your foot is too the floor you shouldn't be able to force it too shift using the manual button....does your shift even if your foot is too the floor??

Thought of going tonight but I want to hold off some runs until I get my Timing Advance. P-Titan is gonna get a service guy in Torrance at a Nissan Dealership to hook it up with his and my TITAN...hasn't PMed me yet. LOL had a guy challenged me to a race with his V-6 SIlverado with superchips programer. He said he beat Tundra's and Hemis...but never raced a TITAN. We were gonna race last week but again...I have a life.
