[quote=kartman]DOnahoe shocks have a hat at the top that adapts the standard shock mount to fit the coil bucket of the Titan, look at the top of the shock in the pic. Flipping the hat upsidedown apparantly makes the shock a little longer for a bit more lift. I hve not tried it personally.QUOTE]

Gotcha. The visual made the difference.

i just want it to handle off roading at high speed better and jumping but not high just a foot or two of the ground. i like my truck not having alot of body roll and im sure that will increase without the sway bar. i guess bottom line i need to try it to see if i like it. my only question is that will this be a bad thing to do when i frequently load 3 dirtbikes in the back which will make the center of gravity higher. i assume it will have a ton of body roll with bikes in the back but will that be a problem at about 40-50mph on dirt roads in mojave, california city. again i will probably have to try it to find out but if anyone has similar experiance please do share. im also still interested in getting another inch out of the front end without hurting performance. im hoping someone tries this mod and shares. i would try it my self but i dont trust my skills on suspension. also not to sound dumb but it seems to me that you could just use a 2inch spacer insted of the 1inch that the kit comes with. im sure there is a valid reason no one has tried or mentioned this but i dont know just an idea.

Re: Removing the Sway Bars and Flipping the Coil Bucket for an Added 1"??

Kustom, I did not align after removing the swaybar, no issues that I noticed. Yeah Im in Scottsdale and try to hit the dirt once a month or so.

Just. No bar lets the front end work more so I like it better for high speed stuff in the dirt. I regularly load the bed to 500+ pounds of gear and hit the dirt, no issues there either. Try it and see if you like it. Like I said it takes 3 minutes or less.

Using a 2 inch spacer with a DR coilover will cause the upper arm to hit the coilbucket.

The DR has an internal limiter which is why you need a spacer with the Chaos arm, otherwise you would not get the extra droop from the arm since the shock would limit it. If you put on a 2 inch spacer then you made the limiter longer basically and even the chaos arm would hit as I recall.

Re: Removing the Sway Bars and Flipping the Coil Bucket for an Added 1"??

I dont know If I can do this but over on CT a newbie posted this

"Hi everyone, I have the 4" PRG Performance lift from PRG including DR coils, TC a-arms w/spacer, Deaver leafs, Bilsteins and 2.5" rear blocks.

I have removed the sway bars in order to flip the top hat of the coil bucket. This added an extra 2" to the lift.

Problem is I'm not thrilled w/the ride w/out the sway bars. My mechanic says I need 1" longer stabalizer link kit in order to reinstall the stock sway bar. Wondering if the Hellwig rear sway bar will fit and work or if there is anything else I can add?"

Thanks.
