Doubt that anyone has tested that, and like I said, we'll see what happens next Summer. The past couple days have topped out around 70°, and no noticeable difference...not that I expected one. And FYI, we have plenty of 90 degree days here with high humidity (85%+) in the summer. This summer we had a few near 100, and since it's very densely populated, traffic gridlocks are killers too. Still not Texas' consistent heat, but we do get it (plus temps in the teens and snow in the winter - but to that point, it's no Buffalo either

).
If I do run into any problems, I'll pull the lower grill, yet I doubt it will cause a problem. Maybe if you're sitting 3 feet from the car in front of you for 30 minutes in 100 degree heat, while the asphalt is at 140 and ready to buckle - but hopefully that doesn't happen.
By the way, I have a calibrated thermocouple based probe, so technically I could run a wire out to the front of the rad and log some data from inside the cab. It'll have to wait until next year though.
