Picked up my new Dunder small hole grill from the PO yesterday and just did the install a couple hours ago.
The installation is pretty simple and doesn't take too long. I had to take the 4x4 skid plate off to mount the lower grill, but the hardest part was getting my arm up behind the bumper (I'm not a small guy), and I have the auxillary cooling fan there too. Here's a tip: use a shallow socket with a 3" extension and a ratchet. Much easier.
Sorry for the dirty truck. Haven't washed her in a couple weeks, and it was intermittently raining while I was working on it.
Lemme know whatcha think!

how much did it cost? or post a link would be helpful, i like it as opposed to the horizontal type... much better look, should look sweet on my black paint
No one has replied yet I see
I think it looks great, huge improvement, I am getting a new grill this week also.
How long did it take you to install?
Thanks! I agree, it really contrasts well with the body, which is what I like. I'd say it took about 45 minutes, including stopping to take pictures, and gathering/putting away the tools. The top three pieces went on in 10 minutes. The rest was taking off the skid plate, then struggling with my big arse arms to reach the studs (I'm 6'2"-260 and have beefy forearms ). It wasn't bad though, and I was taking my time.

I paid $220 + shipping off eBay. Dunder Dan, a TitanTalk member makes them (dunder23). You can email him for a catalog with all the different designs and finishes. dunder23~AT~hotmail~DOT~com
I bet it would look bada$$ on black...almost makes me wish I bought a black Titan.
I like it! I had the same thing done a year and a half ago. I did it mostly to keep the cinder rocks out of the heat exchangers. Cinders are used here in the winter for traction on icy roads.
One drawback is that when you drive during a snow storm you might have to stop and clear the snow off the grill works to keep an air flow to the cooling systems. Also, I'm getting some rust signs on the extreme edges.
Looks great. Where are you in New Jersey? I'm in West Orange.

Looks good. I have the same insert (in black) and I really like it. Dunder Dan makes a good product and provides clear instructions.
A couple of observations from the couple of years I have had it: they catch a lot of bugs -- a good thing, since they would have ended up in the radiator. They're tough -- I hit something recently at speed (large bird? possum? armadillo carrying a brick?) and it bent the lower grill. I think it saved the radiator.
I have the same grille on my ride....sweetest looking grille out there.

I'd say it's certain to cause a restriction, how much, I don't know. I'd guess not enough to cause cooling issues. I'll find out when I'm towing next summer.
