A/C Heat Controls Acting Up??

i just noticed yesterday (or was it the day before?) anyway, if my headlights or parking lights are on, anything i do with the heater controls, everything i do all 3 knobs is delayed like 7 seconds (counted a few times)... this includes turning it off and on...? if i turn it off then switch the headlights off immediately, the unit turns off with the headlights...? anybody ever heard of this?

That is not uncommon. It drove me nuts when my AC didn't seem to shut off when the headlights were on, but waiting 5 to 7 seconds it finally responded. I too wish I knew why it does that, but have learned to live with it. Dealer is clueless on the cause.
