Props to Discount Tire!

Hey,

I bought brand new tires at Discount Tire on my Frontier two weeks ago. It cost me $350 with the lifetime warranty/certificates. I bought my Titan and traded in the Frontier two days later. The tires had only 200 miles on it when I traded it in! I hadn't planned on buying the Titan just yet, otherwise I wouldn't have bought the tires for the Frontier. Anyways, I called up Discount Tire today, explaining the situation, and asked them if they would refund my money for my lifetime warranty/certificates. It just so happened that the person who sold me the tires is the person who picked up the phone. He sympathized with me, and said he would refund me the $55 for my lifetime warranty! That's great service right there!

Discount tire is my spot to go to for my trucks or cars shoes...they have great customer care and unsurpassed quaility and work. If you want...they let you stand there and watch them do everything. Thats a shop. I'm planning on going there for my next pair of rubber for my 22's...a big purchase...but knowing them....I feel secure that they will take care of a flat..if one occurs.

yea, i have always used discount tire since my first car. although they are starting to raise their prices on stuff. They also charge to fix a flat unless the tires are from Discount tire. So on a new vehicle with new tires, they will charge to fix a flat now. They used to fix anyones flat for free to attract customers.

That's cool. I believe they have a 30 day refund policy so you can change your mind.

Re: Props to Discount Tire!

They will pricematch even online like Tirerack. I originally wanted General Grabber UHP tires which were $60 more EACH at Discount compared to Tirerack. I showed them my quote from Tirerack and they matched without questions. But, I ended up with the Nitto 420S as they were able to give me better deal and those were 305-50-20 size which General's didn't come in.

Re: Props to Discount Tire!

Discount Tire is the best.
Did you all know that you can buy their free replacement road hazard warranty on OEM tires as long as they sell that brand.
I bought it on my Goodyear SRA's when it was new and it saved me having to buy 2 tires due to sidewall punctures.
You should have them swap the warranty to your Titan.

Re: Props to Discount Tire!

I've bought from them for years but my 22s they chipped the paint on my wheels. so if they're chrome or powdercoated it should be good to go but painted....be careful.

Re: Props to Discount Tire!

YES!!! I have been telling people to go to DTS for years. I have always had the best service them and the one I go too retains it's employees. The manager has been there for many years as well as the all assistant's and that's good. I went there and purchased the road hazard for my Titan a few weeks after I bought it. Sure it cost me $100 bucks but I keep the tires rotated and balanced and in my business flats are way of life. Just yesterday I went in for a flat repair, couldn't be repaired so they ordered me a new tire. they called me at 9am said the tire was in. I pulled in at 430pm and by the time I used the facilities and got a coke they were backing my truck out of the bay. Cost me $22 for the new road hazard for the new tire.

Maybe at some locations but the location i was at, offered to fix my tires and check for leaks on my 22's shoes...they weren't bought there. All this done with no charge, no fee....and left with no nails in my tires. Thats customer service...

Re: Props to Discount Tire!

Alright, I got refunded $56 for the other warranty for my Frontier tires, and then bought the lifetime warranty/free replacement on the Titan tires. $92, but it covers everything. I also just picked up a bug deflector from the stealership.

Re: Props to Discount Tire!

Did my tires/wheels at DA. Dealt directly with the Manager John in the Puyallup store. My first rims ordered caused massive rubbing, he took them back no questions. Re ordered another style with a better offset that did not cause rubbing. I was afraid i would get stuck with some restocking fee or dismounting/remounting and balancing charges, but did not.

The best price and service hands down, shook his hand and told him hes got a customer for life.
