Crack in instrument panel plastic

About three weeks ago I noticed a crack in my Daughters new F150 instrument panel plastic. Needless to say I gave her a bad time about their cheap Ford products. A couple of days ago when the sun hit it just right I discovered I had the same problem. She's coming up Deer Hunting this weekend and I know she is going to see it and I'm sure she will comment on it. Has anybody else had this problem? I don't recall doing anything to crack it.

My buddy's dad has an '04 Titan CC, he had this problem and it was out of warranty. Blows. I guess just normal movement of the dash (slight twisting and whatnot) could be part of it.
