Some bastards just egged my new truck and theres some chips on the side of the bed on the passenger side. ones down to metal and the stars are just in the clearcoat. where can I find the paint code to get one of those duplicolor kits or should I buy the paint straight from the dealer. My trucks an 06 crew cab silver like the one at the top of the thread.
thanks guys

ok thanks. for the marks in the clearcoat do products like new finish just mask the scratches or do they actually buff out. I used some today and it worked well on another area where my grandpappy hit the bumper with his walker lol but is it a temp fix like a heavy wax? or can a detailer actually "rub" them out?
its best to get the touch up paint from the dealership for exact match and the code is in the driver side door seal on a label at the bottom of the door seal

That sucks, samething happened to me a month ago & I picked up a door ding in a parking lot last week.
My Titan is only a few weeks old and it got dinged good sometime last Friday night. It didn't knock any paint off,but its deep, and about the size of a quarter.

It's a temporary fix. New Finish is a wax/polish and you'll have to get a non-wax non-silicone polishing compound to truly remove them.
The general guideline is if the scratch can be felt with a fingernail, it's usually too deep to completely buff out and will need touchup paint.

Ask a paintless dent removal guy. They took some really nasty door dings out of my wife's Altima for cheap, and I saw a Sentra that had been run over by a lifted 4X4 that even got PDR'd and turned out pretty darn good for the price.
