Winter is Comming!

So what weight oil is everyoe going to run?

5W - 30 here. I won't see anything colder than about 25 degrees probably. If that happens, it doesn't last for long.

5w30 is the recommended oil for all temperatures.

20 - 50 in some of my trucks and 10 - 40 in my Titan By the way what is this "Winter" thingy you are talking about? Is that a mod or something??

haha yea whats "winter", but on a serious note i hope it snows! i'm ready to play in it this yr since i dont have a shovel (99' prelude lowered 3"(on its nuts)) anymore!

I use regular 5w 30 like the manual says. Got through the few weeks where it was below zero for high's last december just fine. Just take her easy the first few miles to let the oil circulate properly and the recommended weight will do just fine.

0W-40 Mobil 1 is another great alternative. Many here use it. I have in the past but....it can be a little hard to find.

dont know about the oil but winter cant get here fast enuff for me hate the hot and warm weather. love the snow when we get it , to me it is like a holiday to take a day off from work and play. big kid at heart.

10 W 30 Mobil 1 for me all year around...Just be sure to keep oil in the motor all year and change it regular and the vehicle will last a long time.."Elementary my dear Watson"..

0-40 all year long in the engine , 70-140 in the front and rear diff's
