Couple Questions, first..

Why does the Nissan Titan not have Torsion bars like most other trucks? I was trying to find a quick cheap way to get the front end up a bit before I get a level kit and was hoping I could do so that way......

Second, are there any downsides, or safety concerns that should be addressed with putting a leveling kit on. Will it make my vehicle any less stable as far as rollovers go?

Thanks. Bump.

Re: Couple Questions, first..

Well all trucks including the big 3 have gone to this setup coilovers.Dont know about Toyota. I like it better anyways some do and some dont. There are no downsides to the level kit mine has been almost in my truck from day one and I have no regrets except that I want to go a little higher.

Toyota does the same.

I am by no means an expert on torsion suspensions, but I do know that it's not a great idea to modify them. I have heard that lifting the Chevy's that used to have this suspension is a difficult proposition.
