Re: Bed Rug by Wise Industries

I just did this. Fit is good (no utilitrac). I suppose because of the differences between utilitrac and non-utilitrac beds, they send the filler strips for the bottom of the rug loose in the box for you to attach w/(supplied) two sided tape. Rug is well marked as to where the fillers go so this wasn't a big deal.
It did seem to me that the rug was maybe slightly less well constructed than the one i put in my Lightning 5 years ago....not so much in the actual construction , but like maybe they used just slightly lesser materials. Or I could be remembering the old one as being better than it really was. On the other hand, it seemed like the velco attachments were better thought out than I remembered on my old one.

Overall, fit was good and I'm satisfied w/the rug.

I got a sample sent from them (i think it was the same people) and it seems like the material would absorb water and hold it there till it evaporates. Is the material spongy like the sample?

I'm going to order this same one and have it installed when my Camper Top comes in. That will make the whole area really nice.

Does anyone have the Titan bedliner? How does the 3m velcro stuff stick to it?

I don't think it holds water. It is advertised to dry pretty well. It's not sponge as much as it's more like a plasic cushion. I saw one in the back of a truck that had been in there for 5 years and it looked to be in great shape with some minor rust stains due to the guy loading rusty metal in it.
