Re: Spray in bedliner

I can't imagine that it would be for any reason other than cosmetic... I think I heard about a TSB for when they turn white and scaly... The dealer might even do it for you, or at least give you some goo to put on it....

Re: Spray in bedliner

You can get a product from any local spray-in-liner company, its basically like shoe polish for your truck bed. its a black gel you install with a sponge type thing..only for cosmentic reasons, no other...here in arizona spray in liners only look black for about 2-3 months then its all grey. you could also use armorall but then if you ever sit/lay in your bed your going to get oil spots all over you.

Re: Spray in bedliner

A kid at my work has an 04 with the factory sprayed liner and he said it had started to bubble. He also said Nissan has not heard of this before (at least his dealer) but they are repairing it free of charge. He thinks it is something in the air because he hasn't had it happen till he started where I work just this year.

Re: Spray in bedliner

There is no reason to put armour all on your bedliner. Some of the early titans are blister. I am one of the robot tenders that sprays the bedliner in the frontier. In the first few months of building the titans they didn't have flow monitoring on the robots which enabled the flow to get too far off ratio, and could cause a blister later in the field. The problem is was fixed very soon after discovery. The dealer will replace the entire bed or pull out the liner and spray in a new one.

Re: Spray in bedliner

Lol Funny you say that because a guy at work is getting his re-done soon for the blistering (2004), I wonder how the hell they will fix that. Grind out the old stuff or just give him a brand new bed.
