All Titan use the same gaugee layout, non BT have that part cover up. If you take the gauge out and cut the cover off where the tranny gauge is you will see the tranny temp gauge minus the needle, not sure if you can get a needle, pop it on and it will work or not.
Sounds like all you may need is a needle and a new gauge overlay with trim panel.
Anyone take a gauge cluster out yet?

They may use the same printed faceplate which would include the tranny temp guage but I doubt it would just be a matter of only adding the needle. I guess a little experimenting would tell you.

I would bet that it would work. Remember that even without the temp gage we all have the idiot light on the right side of the dash, so the signal must go from the tranny to the gage cluster somewhere.
Its cheaper for nissan to make 1 gage cluster and just cut out the center for the tow pkg.

But not cheaper to put all the things in like sensors, wiring.. etc, to make it work. I still say it won't work but....lol, maybe somone is willing to do the work to find out.

I'm willing to bet it works. Nissan included a lot of stuff in these trucks that they didn't have to. For example, all the wiring to attach the factory tow hitch is there, just no hitch. And all the nuts and studs for factory step rails are there too, just no rails. If I ever do a color overlay, I will take a closer look and might try to make it work.
