SLIP light staying on

Yeah so i was driving my titan yesterday, and all of the sudden the emergency break lights up and the SLIP light turns on. I pull over and the break light turns off but the SLIP light stays on. I drove it home and drove it again today, and the light didn't turn on until i got a mile down the road. Now the SLIP light wont turn off. Anyone have any idea why its staying lit?

Taker in....Mine did that along with the ABS light. I was told it was a sensor that they couldn't replace, so they replaced my whole rearend.

Re: SLIP light staying on

Check your brake fluid first, if low add a little bit. If that don't help then take it to the dealer.

Re: SLIP light staying on

Mine was diagnosed as a bad ABS module, which they replaced this past spring. No further problems.

Re: SLIP light staying on

I took the advice of one of the members and added dot 3 brake fluid. mine was full but i topped it off anyway.

then i pumped the brake pedal 5 times, turned on the key, pumped it five times or more, and started her up. slip light was off. oh, i rested it overnight by the way.

this is the best place for advice. the manual doesnt tell you this.
