Well I have to say I love my titan but yeah starting to get frustrated with a few small problems that have been happening. Last night I was at the movies with my girl friend and I turned the heater on and we left for home. Well about 5 miles down the road after we had started hitting 70mph the heat went cold. I fiddled with all the nobbs over and over nothing worked. Then we stopped for a bike to eat and when we got back in the truck and started it up I had heat again but again once we hit 70mph it slowly cooled off to cold. Has anyone any idea of whats goin on here so I can scream at the dealer what my problem is and how they should fix it ;-) (my dealer seems to think if the truck is running there is no problem "Peltier Nissan Tyler Texas")
Thanks guy and let me know.

If there is not enough coolant you will not get flow through the heater core.
Low coolant level can make your truck run hot but still blow cold air out the heater.

I agree with above. Had that problem with my dodge. Thats how i found out i had a leak in radiator. Also if the titan has some miles on it you might need to flush the rad.
That won't be your problem imo. You did rotate the temp control knob fully clockwise? If so, it has to be variable resistor problem in that temp controller.

If the thermostat was stuck open then the engine would be overheating.
No, stuck closed would make it overheat. But anyhow, I bet it's simply a control problem with one of the knobs. I can't imagine the coolant level being low enough to blow cold heat yet not cause drivability problems.

Not in all cases... Sometimes a stuck open thermostat will not let the engine get up to full operating temps and in others, it will overheat . this is due to too much coolant flow not letting the radiator dissipate the heat efficiently or dissipating it too much. It all depends on how well the cooling system has been designed... One example is on my old awd turbo eclipse rally car. I removed the thermostat and it ran just fine. Although I wasn't running coolant, just de-ionized water with some red line watter wetter...

BTW......for everyones info.........
If your running your a/c and it stops cooling when the vehicle isn't moving(no air through rad)........then check coolant level.
Most of you probly know that but thought i'd just make sure.
